Investment Casting
technological process:
1. Mold making: Use melting materials to create precision wax molds that are exactly the same shape as the final product.
2. Tree assembly: Assemble multiple wax molds onto the pouring system to form a "wax tree".
3. Shell making: Repeatedly apply a special refractory coating on the surface of the wax tree, sprinkle refractory sand particles, wrap it, and finally form a sturdy ceramic shell.
4. Dewaxing: Heating or steam treating the shell to melt the wax mold inside and obtain a hollow ceramic cavity.
5. Baking: High temperature roasting of the shell to remove residual volatiles.
6. Pouring: Pour molten metal liquid into the preheated ceramic shell.
7. Cooling and Cleaning: After the metal solidifies and cools, the ceramic shell is crushed or dissolved, and the casting is taken out for cutting, pouring, sandblasting, grinding, heat treatment, machining, and inspection processes.
